I don't know what this plant is. It appears to be ready to flower. It is surrounded by echinacea, and is about the same height, but different. I can't wait to see what it turns out to be. Keep you posted!

The good news is if you let it grow and die there, you're likely to get a few every year.

Thanks--I thought it looked like a sunflower, but it's a miniature, if it is. A bird must have delivered the seed over to the house from the garden. Hmmm.
