The weekend at Rehoboth Farm

American Gothic, by Grant Wood:

AMERICAN GOTHIC 2007--my husband is so patient, he will do all kinds of silly things for my amusement--here he is showing off a 3+ pound sweet potato.

HOBO COW--Morgan left for school on Sunday evening, and called 5 minutes later to tell me that "a big bull" was wandering the railroad tracks at the bottom of the hill. "Only in Worthington!" she said. (She also commented, "It was the scariest thing ever!!") Several telephone calls later, the neighbors helped locate who was missing a big whiteface. How funny is that?!

Out of a whole orchard of a dozen different kinds of fruit trees, my husband was able to harvest this one-and-only lonely apple:

I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as we did!

Thanks. I felt a little rusty but it came out pretty good for only 3 rehearsals. It was lots of fun. It was great to see everyone again.
