Many thanks to my wonderful friend Karen at Hair Tricks in West Kittanning for donating her time and talent to shave six heads today, and my deepest gratitude to the family and friends who sacrificed their hair to raise money to fight breast cancer. Praise God, I am almost to my $5000 goal, and there is still some money to come in!

How cool!!! I should have been paying better attention. I did not realize that you were having it done at Hair Tricks. I would have stopped in to join the cheering section. What a great time it looks like you guys had. You are so creative with doing such fun things and involving others so that they can be blessed also. I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I'll be praying that your next chemo on Monday goes better for you. My friend Julie, (from Harvest also), who had her chemo a little while ago, is just starting to have her hair grow back in. She is so looking forward to being able to get rid of the wig. Both of you are such a blessing to me.
Hi, Pam! I was just thinking about you--I hadn't heard from you for a while. Thank you for your encouraging comment. God really helped me with the day. I was concerned that it would be at least a little traumatic, but it was just fun. I have been so blessed by everyone who contributed to the fundraiser in so many different ways.
Mindy,
You are beautiful!
Thanks, Tif! I'm kinda liking this!
