A woman named Linda from Virginia has a wonderful ministry--she knits prayer shawls. This one was waiting for me when I came home from work yesterday.
Linda adds special touches like little charms tied onto the fringe . . . .
But most special of all is the prayer she knits into each stitch, and the lovely note she attaches. Thank you, Linda. May God bless your loving kindness richly.

Mindy, I am continuing to pray that the LORD will guide the surgeon's hands and give you the best results possible for your upcoming surgery. I believe and am praying that your recovery time will be a time of blessing and healing as we get to continue to bless you with prayers, gifts (of course), and our love. This scarf is so beautiful and the love is inspirational, what a ministry Linda has. You are loved!
Hi Mindy.......Just want you to know that I've been praying for you and that you've also helped me and my family. As I read your blog and your ideas for helping people in critical situations, I took notes and now have some solid, practical ideas for lending a hand. THANK YOU. It's amazing to me how God turns difficult things into blessings for others. YOU also AMAZE me!! :) Hug!
As I was reading your blog today, I was shocked to find the photo of the prayer shawl that was sent to you. You see, I spent all last evening and this morning looking online for info. and patterns for prayer shawls. I came up with very little. I crochet (a very tiny bit) and really would love to do these for people. I was also looking for something written to put in with the shawls when I give them away. Do you think the person who sent that to you would mind if I would somehow get in touch with her for suggestions and maybe to swap patterns?
You see how your love and experiences are rippling out to others, Mindy? How COOL is that?!?!! THANK YOU for sharing your heart is such a meaningful way.
hey there girl friend, seems like i am hearing your name lots these days, pastor chuck, told me he talkedto someone who knew me. i think this was at the time he was talking to your pastor. pastor chuck is great. he is like my manager. but he does make great contacts and trying to set up opportunities for VOM speaking engagments. i saw your blog as was so excited to see VOM link on the site. jeannie told me about your recent diagnosis. the first thing i thought of was your mom. i dont know why. mindy, you know as well as anyone my heart in these things. what can i do? how can i minister? how can i reach out and meet the need? since God i believe, lead us all in different directions to minister for his kingdom, seeing each other has become sparse, but the bond of christian sisterhood unbreakable! please know you, rich and morgan are in my private prayer time and added to our church families prayers. i am working weekends now at shadyside but i have off weekdays and would love to see you all. do you think you could come for dinner some night soon? drop a line. hope to hear from you soon. In His faithful hands, love ya, karen
