Answered prayer & grateful heart
Got my pathology report already--my surgeon was shocked! YAY--clean margins, so no more surgery. Tumor size 2.8 cm (pretty big), and 3 of 29 lymph nodes had cancer. I will need chemo + radiation, which I already pretty much knew. Thank you, Lord, and praise God for praying friends!
I have an appointment with Dr. Priya Rastogi, my Magee medical oncologist, at 10 am on the 28th, and I see my surgeon, Dr. Marguerite Bonaventura, at 12:15 the same day. I will also be making an appointment at Armstrong's cancer center.
Dr. Bonaventura says my arm swelling my be a permanent lymphedema, but maybe not. I would appreciate continued prayer about that . . . .
I am so thankful that I know God, for my family & friends, and for God's family.

How are you feeling? I have been praying that you do not have a lot of pain and discomfort. Also, I have been praying that everything is going well with your drain.
I’m glad you keep your blog updated. My friend, Debbie, has also been praying for you. I showed her your blog and she thought it was really nice.
Please keep in touch. I hope you’re up for company on Saturday night.
Mindy,
Paul & I talk about you everyday and keep updated thru Berger and your Blog. We are relieved you are doing so well. Keep your chin up and keep being an inspiration to all of us.
Love,
Sharon B.
You look great! So thrilled with the pathology report! God is good!
I am the one who has been inspired by all of YOU! I have learned so much about how to be an encouragement to others because of how you have helped me. Thank you, dear friends.
Mindy I am so happy about the pathology report. No more surgery is great news! :) Praise be to our Father, the great I AM!
Thank God for the blessings He bestows up us, especially in those hours of need! What WONDERFUL news! Are you up for a visit, maybe this weekend? Nancy and I would like to stop by, but don't want to interrupt your "healing" time! A friend of mine was telling me about this "lymphedema" swelling. She started seeing a person who specializes in massage treatments for that. If you want, I'll get the info for you. And, as goofy as this sounds, you are glowing! Cancer? BLAH! You're definitely showing it that God is in control! Keep it up, Mindy! Plus, you look so dang pretty in pink! :) Hope you're not in too much pain. Rest and take it easy. Let me know about the visit and what I can do/bring for you. Love you!

Mindy-
I have been thinking of you and praying for you. Your beautiful smile and glow of faith are a balm to those of us who worried but didn't know what to say. Guilty I am. Our health is a gift and I am glad you are so strong- that is the way to treat such a gift.
I wish I could knit you the most beautiful hat!
Much love and all of the blessings you need-
Karen
