Greetings from the great north. . . really north. . .west PA!
I probably have 10.2 seconds before one of the kids needs something or the dinner is ready. So, I had better type fast. . . but you can read it slowly, if you want.
Mark shared the e-mail with me that Patty sent out. Immediately you were added to our evening prayers. (William asks each time who you are. I say, "My friend.")
I know that people always say, "I think of you more than I write," and that is what I must say as well. I am the worst at keeping in touch with people, but I think about them often and send little ESP thoughts. I suppose more e-mail thoughts might be better to have the chance to actually reach the person.
Time is up. I'll type a little update later.
Keep the faith.

Mindy:
I have been keeping myself updated by your blog. I have also sent your name out to about 60 people who are on my prayer list.
Let me know if there is a time that we can get together. I would be happy to come to your office and have a time of prayer with you!!

"Never doubt in the darkness what God has shown you in the light."

A strong woman
is one who feels deeply
and loves fiercely.
Her tears flow just
as abundantly as her laughter.
She is not afraid to be afraid.

A strong woman
is both soft and powerful.
She takes compliments to heart
and treats herself
like the queen that she is.

A strong woman
is equally visionary and decisive.
She is able to hope
when things look hopeless.
She is both practical and spiritual.

A strong woman
in her essence
is a gift to all the world.

Thinking of you
because you're
a woman who shows
what it takes to be one.

I am so sorry to hear about your recent struggle. When I found this e-card I knew it was for you--you are a strong woman in so many ways and I know that will help you through whatever you are facing. Your kind words and thoughts have meant so much to me in the past year I hope you know that my thoughts are with you and your family now.

Mindy,
I was shocked by the news, but not by your response to it. You have a faith that is evident to anyone who knows you and it is truly a comfort to those of us who care about you.
My Sunday School class has been discussing what faith means. I can't wait to share your story this week.
Assuming all that we encounter along life's journey as a blessing from God is a maturity level that many Christians never achieve...using everything we encounter to then bless others is truly a gift.
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and your family.
