Beautiful pics! When we went to the zoo this year, we only saw one polar bear. I thought something happened to the other one, but there he (or she!) is in your pics! :)
My son LOVES the sharks. One of them swam right by his head and he jumped back!
Was the bear yawning or making noise?

The bear was actually catching peanuts that his handler was tossing to him.

The polar bears are brothers, I believe.

We were amazed by the sharks, too. They swam right up to the glass--it was a little creepy.

I sure would like to go in the cage and pet that cute tiger. He/she looks so friendly. :o)

I know--I always want to pet the furry creatures, especially the cats (and I'm serious). Someday in heaven, we will be able to do that. "The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den" [Isaiah 11:8].

Mindy, these are great. You might have found your niche! Animal pictures. I've gone to many zoos and taken many animal pictures, but none like these. outstanding.

Those bears would eat your head off without emotion . . . they are not as huggable as they look!
