Yep, it was a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, all right . . .

A young man behind us spilled his glass of beer in my purse. I'm just glad he didn't puke in it.
We tailgated with turkey sandwishes, cheese curls, water, and coffee. We were the only sober people in the parking lot. Burger said, "You know I didn't consider this, but it might be a rowdy crowd."
Gee, ya think? Lynryd Skynyrd was awesome. This old guitar guy ROCKED. They played all the great songs we remembered from 35 years ago (did I just say that?)
"Give me 3 steps, give me 3 steps, Mister, give me 3 steps toward the door . . . "
"Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Back My Bullets," and of course, "Free Bird."
Oh, yeah--the Pirates beat the Astros 6-4.

Mindy don't worry if those songs were great 35 years ago. I am not yet 35 and I know all those songs by heart. Sounded like a great evening with the exception of beer in purse!- Mandy

Ahem!....the 'old guitar guy' is Rickey Medlocke who is younger than I am! Not a LOT younger, but younger. And I'm not old.

I'm just sayin'.....

Well, this guy looks a LOT older than you, Bob! Lifestyle might have something to do with it.

I'm just sayin' . . .
