My husband and I are such bad bikers--amidst black jeans, black leather, and black biker boots, there's us: brown work boots, athletic shoes (me), blue jeans, windbreakers. Oh, and helmets.
Mindy, You keep wearin' that helmet! It will keep you safe...seriously...it's like putting snow tires on your car. There is no better way to guarantee that it won't snow! :)
Also, if you're worried about fitting in, maybe buy a skull and crossbones sticker...with flames...to stick on that helmet! That'll show the cool kids!!!! :)
